Greeting
20 years from the population of the world is expected to be 7 to 9 billion, and the proportion of the aging will also change from 7% to 15%. As urbanization proceeds and living standards improve, the industry, industrial structure and market value will shift from a product manufacturing oriented to a service, well-being and feeling-good oriented industry. In this context there exists an increasing demand on easy to use organic materials with properties such as soft and gentle surface and low energy costs during production.
In this project, an academic challenge is extend the limited functions of current organic materials with the infinite possibility of organic molecule creation technology (Adhesion · gas permeation control · carrier mobility · selective adsorption · temperature stiffness control · ion Movement Management System). We will aim for industrial innovation aiming at building the basic technology with four themes. Furthermore, in social systemization, a novel industry is created that leads to social innovation / social implementation where “Organic system anywhere” is familiar and mutual connection is established by Organic System of Everything “OoE”.
In about 5 years from the end of this project we expect as one of the outcomes the development of a competitive “soft matter robotics” industry connecting people, goods, information and artificial intelligence to software . In “soft structure”, we apply gentle human-machine connection by “flexible sensation of human being” using organic light source and sensor of organic material, “effectively move” with soft electric storage device. We aim to create a robotics industry in fields such as medical care, leisure and education.

Project Overview
Functional organic materials are required to realize “Super Smart Society Society 5.0”. They are soft, gentle, easy to make, energy-free, can store electricity anywhere.
Infinite possibilities exist in molecular creation. We utilize it,
1) Soft function material / device
(2) Soft sensing
(3) Soft mechanics
(4) Soft storage device
With these themes, we will lead a new development of innovative industries in each of the four fields by academically challenging the creation of extreme functions of organic materials.
Furthermore, we want to combine themes into a social system.
Using these fundamental technologies, we can develop new areas of soft matter robotics in robotics field. Connect people, objects, information and artificial intelligence.
